This bot locates and removes questionable templates like {{N.Z.}}, {{Ait}}, and {{nv}}, {{NZACAcari}}, {{PlantSynz|872}} and {{NZOR}}
It also used to locate and remove non-standard categories with references to geographical regions, like [[Category: some taxon (Australia)]] and [[Category: some taxon (New Zealand)]] or change a file category, like from [[Category:Taxa of G.I. Holwell]] into [[Category:Gregory I. Holwell taxa]].

Category: <<taxon name>> (<<any country>>)files as possible were sorted into in species::Category:Non-standard taxon formatting and species::Category:Candidates for speedy deletion, where the files were analyzed before deletion. Discussions in the village pump regarding the geographical categories can be found here and here. Old Non-standard taxon formatted articles get sorted within the category in the species::Category:Non-standard taxon formatting. - February: KoehlBot is using AWB to convert hyphens to en-dashes, see discussion on the Village pump.
